Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/aegis-shield directory, or install via the Plugins menu in WordPress.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen.
  3. Navigate to Tools Aegis Shield to run your first scan or set up scheduled scans.

Is this plugin free?

Yes. The base plugin is free. Aegis Shield Pro adds advanced features and support for a license-based fee.

What does the Pro version include?

Will it slow down my site?

No. Scans run in the admin area and never affect frontend performance. Scheduled scans are handled using WordPress cron in the background.

Does it fix issues automatically?

Not currently. Aegis Shield detects and alerts. You can view results, export them, and take action manually — or contact our support team for help.
